Sustainability
From materials to transportation, we’re driving our carbon footprint toward near-zero. Accountability and bold climate action aren’t future ambitions—they are commitments we’re acting on today.
The definition of Sustainability is “meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs” and that includes economic, environmental and social factors.
As a leading luxury bags manufacturer, we want to be as open and transparent about our methods as possible.
Our Material
Leather is a durable, hardwearing material which is perfect for rugged wearable products and has been used for footwear and apparel for hundreds of years. And as a natural product, with care, it will last for decades improving with age as it develops a unique depth of colour and patina which lends it character and vintage appeal.
Our leather bags, belts and leather accessories are designed and manufactured to last; we firmly believe that fast fashion is toxic to the global environment and local producers, and we’re glad to see the consumer tide turning towards slower fashion where each purchase is an investment and bring value for decades.
Leather Working Group (LWG)
Our leather is sustainably sourced from our Leather Working Group (LWG) audited tannery, which means it meets the standards for sustainable and responsible leather production in tannery chemical management, water management, environmental compliance, leather traceability and supply chain transparency, and is following environmental best practices. We are continuously improving our production processes and are working hard towards achieving a higher Silver rating.
We ensure our workforce and supply chain can enjoy safe working conditions and fair pay. Our business relationships have been built up over three generations, are long-standing and built on mutual trust and respect.
Production and working conditions are reviewed and monitored to ensure the health and safety of all staff in our employ and across our supply chain and the LWG audits and certifies safe working practices. Our products are manufactured in India, creating income and employment in our community.
